Pop Ups is a loose word used for windows that are usually advertisements and messages not preferable that open while browsing the internet. These can be insistent and you cannot navigate to another page on the net without closing these.
There are many kinds of pop-ups:
• Pop ups
These are average usual advertisements that come up with some sites. People get paid for such adverts.
• Pop Unders
Pop unders are similar to pop ups, only they launch a new window under the current one. You would find it out only after you close your current working window.
• Exit Consoles pop-ups appear when closing a page or when leaving a site.
• Floating Ads
These appear on top of the page that is being viewed.
There are computer programs which set the pop-ups to display. When you are visiting any website or otherwise browsing the web these come to display and it is indeed difficult to know which one is more troublesome.
To get rid of pop-up ads and other malware, click the option to block the pop-ups on your toolbar of the browser.
Another menace is adding a toolbar. You need to be wary of these as these install automatically when you accept them and never seem to completely go away.
